Cahiers de littérature orale on open access

The Cahiers de littérature orale, part of the Langage, Langues et Cultures d’Afrique Noire laboratory (UMR 8135 - CNRS and Inalco), is a French publication devoted, since 1976, to the linguistic arts of oral cultures around the world. Also studied are oral literary genres, and anything related to contexts of oral presentation and transmission, and codified speech, including fictional production and alphabetized cultures where orality and writing coexist in their most contemporary modes, such as Internet and chat, etc. For the opening of the site on Revues.org, all issues since 2007 are available on open access, i.e. seven issues including seven double issues.
