Systèmes de pensée en Afrique noire on open-access
The Systèmes de pensée en Afrique noire journal is devoted to the study of religious anthropology of the African world in the broadest terms: sacrifice, mourning rituals, sacred royalty, fetish objects, totemism, the ritual treatment of the murderer and initiation, etc. Founded in 1975 and published by the École pratique des hautes études, the journal publishes research carried out by the Centre d’Études des Mondes Africains (CEMAf, UMR 8171). For its inauguration on Revues.org, the journal is offering nine of its earlier now out-of-print issues on open access and in full text, as well as the two most recent issues, edited by Dominique Casajus and Michael Houseman respectively.
