Lusotopie

As a comparatist international journal, Lusotopie aims to develop political research on the contemporary spaces arising out of Portuguese history and colonisation. Launched in 1994 by the Lusotopie Researchers’ Association, it published 11 annual volumes before becoming a quarterly journal in 2006. In its almost 15 years of existence, the journal has published the work of authors of over 30 nationalities, who often originate from countries of the South and whose working languages are Portuguese, French and English. It has thus created an original and egalitarian forum for academic exchange. On joining Revues.org, Lusotopie is making the nine issues it published between 2005 and 2009 available in open access.
