Cybergeo’s 20th anniversary

Established in 1996, Cybergeo. Revue européenne de géographie celebrated its 20th anniversary last May. To mark the occasion, the journal team held a colloquium and published a special collection of articles on its website. Supported by the CNRS’s Institut des Sciences Humaines et Sociales, Cybergeo was the first exclusively digital social science journal in the world. Free and open access, it has been published on Revues.org since 2003. Its international, peer-reviewed articles cover geography in its very varied dimensions: politics, culture, epistemology, environment, landscape, etc. Twenty years after it was founded, the journal has published nearly 1000 articles in open access.
