Opening of Palimpsestes’s website

Palimpsestesis a yearly journal created in 1987, published by the Presses de la Sorbonne nouvelle, which tackles theoretical and practical questions about translation, mainly in the domains of English-to-French and French-to-English translation. Each issue tackles a specific question and its relationship to already existing theoretical frameworks, based on the study of specific texts accompanied by their translation. Each issue is accompanied by a booklet containing all reference texts in the two languages studied. Palimpsestes is an open-access publication with an embargo period of two years. Four issues are already available on line, including two in full-text: La traduction de l’adjectif composé (19|2007) and De la traduction comme commentaire au commentaire de traduction (20|2007).
