Aitia. Regards sur la culture hellénistique au XXIe siècle is an electronic journal devoted to the history of culture, philosophy and literature in the Hellenistic period, 323 BC - 30 AD. On the cusp between the classical Greek and Roman worlds, the Hellenistic period is a crucial one when literary critical and academic approaches to texts became defined, with the museum library of Alexandria at the core of these developments. The Aitia journal editorial stance is resolutely international and its main vocation is disseminate advanced research from three establishments: the École normale supérieure de Lyon, the Roma III University and Ohio University.
