Variations rejoint Revues.org

Founded in 2001, the Variations journal deals with contemporary critical theory (critical sociology, cultural studies, gender studies, etc) and research based on Frankfurt School philosophies. The work has a special focus on literary translations and unpublished research. For the opening of the site, four issues have been published in full-text on open access, including the latest issue (no.16, 2012) devoted to oppositional public spaces, with Cairo’s Tahrir Square as a focal point. All articles will be freely accessible in HTML, and available for download in PDF and ePub formats via the OpenEdition Freemium program.
