Centre Jacques-Berque books online: social sciences in Morocco and in the Maghreb

The Centre Jacques-Berque is a hybrid unit and part of the Instituts français de recherche à l'étranger (UMIFRE) in Rabat, Morocco. Its research activity comprises academic programs, events and publications relating to the social, economic and political dynamics of Morocco and the Maghreb. It seems is composed of French, Moroccan and international researchers. In order to encourage the distribution and promotion of works in its domain, the CJB has opened an electronic book collection on OpenEdition, Maktabat al-Maghreb, composed of two sub-collections, Description du Maghreb, devoted to previously unpublished research, and Les rééditions du CJB, devoted to republication of out of print classics. Five works are already accessible online in full text and available for download in PDF and ePub formats via the OpenEdition Freemium program for libraries.
