    The Systèmes de pensée en Afrique noire journal is devoted to the study of religious anthropology of the African world in the broadest terms: sacrifice, mourning rituals, sacred royalty, fetish objects, totemism, the ritual treatment of the murderer and initiation, etc. Founded in 1975 and published by the École pratique des hautes études, the journal publishes research carried out by the Centre d’Études des Mondes Africains (CEMAf, UMR 8171). For its inauguration on Revues.org, the journal is offering nine of its earlier now out-of-print issues on open access and in full text, as well as the two most recent issues, edited by Dominique Casajus and Michael Houseman respectively.

    Cahiers des Amériques latinesis a reference publication on the international Latin-American landscape since the end of the 1960s. Open to all humanities and social science disciplines, the journal also provides a forum for reflection and debate about Latin American current affairs. For the inauguration of its site, Cahiers des Amériques latines is offering 14 volumes, covering the last five years, of which 12 are on open access in full text for all formats. Eventually the site hopes to host the full catalogue of past issues.

    Perspective, la revue de l'INHA [French National Institute of Art History], publishes critical analyses of the history, objects, and methods of research in art history. Published twice a year, it offers issues dedicated to different art historical periods, to a chosen theme, or to art history in a given country.     Les Mélanges de l’École française de Rome – Antiquité (MEFRA) focuses on research in various disciplines, from Prehistory to the end of Antiquity. MEFRA publishes articles relating to history, culture and the archaeology of ancient worlds in the Mediterranean, in particular in Italy, North Africa and the Balkans, and on the interactions between the region and the rest of the ancient world. This major publication of ancient historiography has been published since 1881. Issues prior to 2000 are available on the Persee.fr portal.     Mélanges de l’École française de Rome - Moyen Âge (MEFRM) offers original academic research on the history of archaeology and social sciences in Italy and the Mediterranean from the High Middle Ages to the Renaissance. Most issues are theme issues coordinated by a specialist. Articles often feature previously unpublished sources and iconographic work, illustrating the various fields of contemporary Medieval Studies. Mélanges de l’École française de Rome has been published since 1881 and the medieval period had a journal in its own right since 1971. Issues prior to 2000 are available on the Persee.fr portal.
