    The Latin American history and anthropology journal Nuevo Mundo Mundos Nuevos has just published its 11th annual issue.
    The journal is dedicated to the development of the digital humanities and has a new layout, better adapted to its latest developments. Consequently the debates section will be updated throughout 2011: “Atravesando fronteras. Circulación de población en los márgenes iberoamericanos. Siglos XVI-XIX”, “La nobleza india del centro de México durante el periodo novohispano. Adaptaciones, cambios y continuidades”, “La participación indígena en los mercados iberoamericanos. De la colonia a los primeros años independientes”. Other sections will also be updated in the course of the year.
    Apart from bimonthly updates, the research inventory will be updated by continuous feed, an approach complemented by the real time monitoring of historical resources of Latin American history and interpretation via the Nuevo Mundo Radar.

    The author analyses the conditions underlying the emergence of reflections into “author-ness” in Alphonsin historiographical discourse. The corpus – Alphonse X’s History of Spain – has been selected for its cross-cultural and thus ambiguous positioning as a historiography in both the Latin and vernacular languages, where a monarch, whose sovereignty is under threat, affirms himself at once as a king, as a subject, as a historiographer, and as a linguistic craftsman.

    The Revue archéologique de l'Ouest (Presses universitaires de Rennes) publishes original work devoted to the archaeology of prehistoric and historic regions of the west of France, as well as work from disciplines and about geographic areas related to the main subject. Four issues are currently online, including three full-text issues. Past issues (1984-2005) will be gradually published online.

    La Lettre de l’OCIM is a professional journal published by the Office de coopération et d'information muséographiques which, for over 20 years, has offered a mouthpiece for the whole museum sector. Every two months, it presents the current state of affairs in museums and cultural, academic and technical institutions, publishing articles written by specialists of museology, museography and conservation. Three years of publications are already online on La Lettre de l'OCIM website. The six issues to appear in the course of 2008 are now accessible in full text.

    Documents pour l’Histoire du Français Langue Étrangère ou Seconde is published by the SIHFLES (Société Internationale pour l’Histoire du Français Langue Étrangère ou Seconde). It deals with historical aspects, questions of linguistic and educational policy, questions of foreign language theory, teaching methods and acquisition, inventories of manuals—grammar books, dictionaries, theoretical works, and bilingual works, etc—and authors who have made an impact in this area of research during the period from the Renaissance to the 1970s, in all countries where France has been taught as a foreign language. Documents pour l’Histoire du Français Langue Étrangère ou Seconde is quarterly journal with an international peer review board. The last five issues are currently available online in full text. Earlier issues will gradually be made available.

    The Cahiers de Narratologie, a journal focussing on the theory and analysis of cultural, literary and artistic productions, is published by the Centre Interdisciplinaire Récits, Cultures, Psychanalyse, Langues et Sociétés (CIRCPLES) of the Université de Nice Sophia Antipolis. In line with advances in narratology, which in the last few years has become an increasingly interdisciplinary area, the journal publishes studies about genre, storytelling and cultural objects.
    The Cahiers de Narratologie is published twice yearly. Nine issues are available in full-text on the journal’s site. No. 19, Images composites, arts pluriels, has just been published.
