    Volume ! La revue des musiques populaires is published quarterly by Éditions Mélanie Seteun, founded in 2002. It is devoted to the pluridisciplinary study of popular music and combines methodological approaches and French theory with those of cultural and popular music studies. For the inauguration of the site, the journal offers the all cololection, with twelve issues in full text on open access, and a number of indexes ordered by keyword, artist, musical genre, period or geographical zone.

    Comicalités. Études de culture graphique sets out to question the specificity and evolution of modes of expression, production and reception of comics, illustrations, caricature and cartoon. The journal, published by Université Paris XIII, publishes streamed articles and thematic issues. For the opening of the site, Comicalités focuses on La bande dessinée : un « art sans mémoire » ? (Comics: an “art without memory”?). Two other theme issues are forthcoming: Représenter l’auteur de bande dessinée (Representing the comic book author) and L’Allemagne : quelle(s) image(s) ? (Germany: what images?”). Comicalités is also part of the OpenEdition Freemium program.

    The Recherche & formation journal publishes articles about research, experiments, innovations, publications and recent events in the area of child and adult education. It looks at issues arising from theory and practice, the pedagogical transposition of academic knowledge and the relationships between the university and the education and training professions. The journal is published  by ENS Éditions, thrice yearly. For the opening of the site, sixteen issues are available online including six in full text.

    Published since 2005 by the Équipe de Recherche sur la Réception de l'Antiquité: Sources, Mémoire, Enjeux (E.R.A.S.M.E, Toulouse II-Le Mirail), Anabases is an international, trans-disciplinary, comparative journal looking at the reception and traditions of Antiquity through time. The intercultural approach implies a transversal perspective in three registers of analysis: 1) between disciplines, like history, philosophy, literature, archaeology, and the political sciences; 2) between cultural regions around the Mediterranean, Europe, and the Near- and Middle-East; 3) between periods, from Antiquity to the present day. For the opening of the site, six issues are available online, including one in full text.

    The Institut de la gestion publique et du développement économique (IGPDE), run by the French economic and finance ministry, publishes a series of works focusing on economic history and public management. Their catalogue includes the latest 2011 releases as well as older reference works. For the inauguration of the site, ten books have been made available online, including five in full text on open access. All are available for order in digital version (EPUB and PDF) or in their paper version. The collection will expand by more than forty titles next year, half of which will be available in full text on open access, divided into four collections: “Economic history, 19th-20th centuries”; “Economic history, Ancien Régime”; “Economic history, Middle Ages”; “Public Management”.

    IdeAs. Idées d'Amériques is an open access journal produced by the Institut des Amériques. Following a multidisciplinary approach in the humanities and social sciences, the journal is dedicated to the study of the whole of the American continent and each year publishes two theme issues of articles based on comparative and transnational approaches. IdeAs also aims to use online publication to create a space for exchange on the subjects discussed, and has an active translation policy. The inaugural issue “Integration in the Americas. Fresh socio-economic perspectives” is now online in full text.
