The Recherche et pratiques pédagogiques en langues de spécialité. Cahiers de l'APLIUT is produced by the Association des professeurs de langues des IUT, a scholarly discussion group. The journal has a dual objective: teaching methods and research. It publishes the results of applied research carried out in the world of teaching and specialist language learning, focussing on specialities and themes. Contributions – research articles, teaching method notes and reviews, etc – are published in theme and varia issues. For the opening of the journal’s website, twelve issues have been made available online including nine in full text.

Since its foundation in 1983, the Politiques et Management Public journal has been devoted to the study of all aspects of the functioning and evolution of public organisations in the broadest possible sense – the State, territorial public bodies, hospital administrations, agencies, public business, franchise holders, etc. The journal’s scope also includes the development and transformation of public policy, whether sector-based or transversal, European, national or local. Politiques et Management Public is aimed at the academic environment but also at a broader public of political, administrative and associative leaders. It is a quarterly publication, produced by the Institut de Management Public. For the journal’s online inauguration, eight issues are available, including four in full text on open access.

Etnógraficais published by the Centro em Rede de Investigação em Antropologia (CRIA) in Lisbon. It has joined the OpenEdition platform as part of the LusOpenEdition project, the Lusophone humanities and social sciences platform. It is devoted to social and cultural anthropology and offers articles in Portuguese, French, English and Spanish. The site opens with three issues from 2010 in full text and on open access. In the months to come, the whole collection will become available.

Cadernos de Estudos Africanosis a Portuguese journal published by the Center of African Studies (CEA), at the ISCTE-IUL in Lisbon, focusing on an academic approach to Africa. It has joined the OpenEdition platform as part of the LusOpenEdition project, the Lusophone humanities and social sciences platform. It welcomes the collaboration of the international scientific community, specialising in the Social Sciences branch of African Studies, and publishes articles in four languages, Portuguese, English, Spanish and French. For the inauguration of the site, four issues are available in full-text on open access.

Aitia. Regards sur la culture hellénistique au XXIe siècle is an electronic journal devoted to the history of culture, philosophy and literature in the Hellenistic period, 323 BC - 30 AD. On the cusp between the classical Greek and Roman worlds, the Hellenistic period is a crucial one when literary critical and academic approaches to texts became defined, with the museum library of Alexandria at the core of these developments. The Aitia journal editorial stance is resolutely international and its main vocation is disseminate advanced research from three establishments: the École normale supérieure de Lyon, the Roma III University and Ohio University. Founded in 2002, the Questions Vives. Recherches en éducation journal publishes original academic research into education and training. Each issue is composed of a theme section coordinated by a guest editor, and other regular sections: varia, interviews, perspectives and reading notes. Questions Vives – live issues – encourages debate on controversial themes within the academic community, providing a reminder that it is constantly useful to question and explore certitudes, consensus opinions, bones of contention, and knowledge. To coincide with the opening of the journal’s website, five issues have been published online in full text.
