The aim of Laboratoire italien is to provide a focus for thinking and debate about Italian politics, in all its plurality and diversity, from the Middle Ages to the present day. In terms of methodology, the journal likes to promote analysis based on experience as well as legal, literary and philosophical texts and concepts. The journal is published annually by ENS Éditions and has the support of the UMR 5206 Triangle (ENS de Lyon/Université de Lyon) and the Dipartimento di scienze giuridiche at the Université de Trente. Each issue includes a special theme feature, varia articles, publications of texts, previously unpublished documents and readings of recently published works. For the inauguration of the journal’s website, issues 1 to 8 (2001-2008) have been published in full-text and on open-access.

Linx journal, created in 1978, is published by linguists at the Université Paris Ouest Nanterre La Défense. It is characterised by openness and a desire for dialogue between all currents and schools of language sciences: syntax, semantics, pragmatics, discourse analysis, lexicology, history and epistemology of linguistics, language and cognition, oral linguistics, written linguistics, language acquisition, language didactics, automatic language and linguistic processing, etc. Fourteen issues are now available online on the journal’s website, with thirteen in full-text.

Kernos. Revue internationale et pluridisciplinaire de religion grecque antique is produced by the Centre international d’étude de la religion grecque antique (CIERGA) at the Université de Liège. This academic journal is entirely devoted to the study of religious facts and phenomena in Greek antiquity. It aims to supply an instrument for reflection and working tools to advance our knowledge of the Greeks’ religious system. Each annual issue offers original peer-reviewed articles, as well as a series of chronicles examining the current state of epigraphical, archaeological and bibliographical research. For the inception of the journal, 23 issues have been made available online, with 20 on open-access. Articles are in French and English.

Philosophia Scientiæ, an academic periodical published quarterly by the Laboratoire d'Histoire des Sciences et de Philosophie-Archives Henri Poincaré (UMR 7117/Université Nancy 2) since 1996, publishes research in the fields of epistemology, history, and the philosophy of sciences. It especially focusses on research into mathematics, physics and logic. It is also open to research focussing in other academic disciplines. Fifteen issues are already online on the journal’s website, including nine in open access. There are also special issues available in full text. Articles are in French or English.

Polis. Revista Latinoamericana aims to contribute to the development of an “open” university, where knowledge production is not the monopoly of an academic institution but is the collective task of the whole of society. Polis sets out to be a website for alternative reflection and research for new paradigms, and fresh proposals for analysis and in inter- and pluri-disciplinary knowledge. Polis is published three times yearly by the Université bolivarienne du Chili. It is referenced at national and international levels. For the opening of the journal’s website, four issues in full text and on open access will be available online. Contributions are mainly in Spanish.

The aim of the Collections électroniques de l’Institut de hautes études internationales et du développement is to publish the finest research relating to emerging contemporary issues by young IHEID researchers. The collections are open to both French-speaking and English-speaking writers from a range of disciplines: law, economics, history, politics, anthropology and sociology. Articles published are positioned at the intersection between international relations and development studies. For the opening of the site, seven volumes of the eCahiers de l'Institut collection are accessible on open access. They present a selection of the work of young researchers. Priority is given to those with academic awards within the framework of their Masters research. There are also articles from established researchers, particularly inaugural lectures.
