Face à Face. Regards sur la santé, established in 1999, is an interdisciplinary electronic journal devoted to questions of health, edited by a group of young researchers in the field of social sciences. The choice of the web as the journal’s exclusive support reflects its editorial group’s desire to exploit the potential for communication, encounter and exchange offered by the Internet, to intensify debates between researchers and health professionals. The key themes of the journal are: health issues as expressions of social dynamics; interdisciplinary perspectives; local and global health; and the virtues of comparison. For its 11th issue, “Sport and Health”, the journal has joined the Revues.org scholarly journal platform. The entire collection is accessible in full text.
