    Comunicação Pública is a Portuguese journal focusing on communication from a pluridisciplinary perspective. It publishes research, essays and critical commentaries, and is open to all studies falling within the scope of the human and social sciences. Created in 2005, it is published by the Institute of Communication and Media of Lisbon. It is inaugurating its site on Revues.org with six issues, of which four are in open access.

    Cultura. Revista de história e teoria das ideias is a Portuguese journal that studies the history of ideas. It explores perspectives drawn from history, philosophy, political thought and literary studies while encouraging exchange between Portugal and Brazil and the Iberian and Ibero-American regions. Each issue contains a themed section, features and book reviews. The journal is published by the Centro de História da Cultura at Lisbon’s Universidade Nova. The journal is making six of its issues available in full text on Revues.org.

    The Revue des Droits de l’homme is an academic legal journal aimed at a general readership and focusing on the field of human rights. It is published by the Centre de recherche et d’études sur les droits fondamentaux at the Université de Paris-Ouest Nanterre La Défense (formerly Université de Paris X). Each issue of this biannual journal contains a themed section and articles on other topics. The journal also publishes commentaries on current affairs in the legal world. These are published weekly in a newsletter: Actualités Droits-Libertés.

    Since its creation in 1986, Études Lawrenciennes has explored all aspects of the oeuvre of D.H. Lawrence (1885-1930): novels, short stories, poetry, travel writing, theatre, essays and paintings, as well as their historical and artistic context. The journal publishes thematic issues composed of articles in English. Three issues are currently available online in open access, with PDF and ePub formats available through the OpenEdition Freemium programme for libraries. The other issues within the series will be progressively added to the site. Études Lawrenciennes is published by the Centre de recherches anglophones at the Université de Paris Ouest-Nanterre.

    Corpus. Archivos virtuales de la alteridad americana is an Argentinian journal of anthropology. It publishes studies of unpublished or little known sources relating to the history and the ethnography of indigenous peoples and ethnic and racial otherness on the American continent. The journal publishes in Spanish and Portuguese. After initially publishing on its own site, the journal has chosen to join Revues.org, and is making its two latest issues available in open access on our platform. The journal’s older issues will be added progressively to Revues.org.

    The Revista Angolana de Sociologia publishes studies of Portuguese-speaking regions and African societies. Each issue contains a themed section, features, book reviews and a research perspective on a particular project. Since its creation in 2008 this Angolan-Portuguese journal has been published by the Angolan Society of Sociology (SASO). The four latest issues of the journal are available online in open access and the PDF and ePub formats are available via the OpenEdition Freemium programme for librairies.
